Modern Office is thrilled to have partnered with Manaaki Ora in transforming their new 3-storey building
on Fenton Street in Rotorua. The building’s construction began in 2022 and marked a significant step forward in realising Manaaki
Ora Trust’s vision for a safe, modern and functional space that serves the community. Designed by DCA Architects of Transformation,
this exciting installation is now complete, and we’re excited to share the final result with you!
Manaaki Ora Trust is a reputable organization that delivers a wide range of health, social, and education services with a kaupapa Māori approach. They have the largest Māori health workforce and service delivery footprint among community-based providers in the Lakes DHB catchment area.
Manaaki Ora desired a collaborative open-plan office with breakout spaces for this project. Their vision included a spacious kitchen area capable of accommodating 15-20 people simultaneously while allowing room for future growth to accommodate larger groups of up to 50 people. Additionally, they sought to create ample space for various therapy rooms, tailored to the different services offered by Manaaki Ora, in vibrant hues that enhance a positive and uplifting environment.
Our Modern Office team helped them choose the perfect furniture for their waiting and communal areas, including the stylish Mello sofa, comfortable Capricorn Double Highback Chair, and elegant Classic Radius Coffee Tables. For their workstations, we provided the efficient Enhance Electric Single Desks, ergonomic Active Task Chairs, and practical Milano storage mobiles. Their staff kitchen now has a vibrant atmosphere thanks to the vibrant Trill Kitchen Counter Bar stools in Mustard, sophisticated Trill Bristol Chairs in Charcoal, and cozy Snug Soft Seating.
