When the ANZ Business Centre opened in 2012, it was deemed a trophy building for Tauranga. This prominent building was the largest commercial office development undertaken in the city for 35 years. Modern Office worked alongside Architects Wingate + Farquhar and Alaska Interiors to implement the new interior fit-out for tenant Key Research in the iconic 247 Cameron Road building. Nurus furniture was used throughout the fit-out and the furniture colours were matched closely with the finishes used in the project.

The 'Pila' desking system with its unique design was used throughout, enabling private and customised areas to be created in crowded offices. 'Hi & Lo' soft seating gave new dimension to living areas with its dynamic form language, bringing comfort with its wide seating area. 'Me Too' task chairs were paired with workstations helping users to adopt a habit of sitting properly, supporting the upper part of the spine and the shoulders allowing safe freedom of movement assisted by highly adjustable comfort mechanisms.
